  1. How frequently should I get my home’s windows done? Twice a year is generally enough, Spring and Fall being the best times.
  2. How do you bid? Mainly, our bid is based upon the number of windows your home or business has. Because certain types of windows present different challenges, it’s difficult to offer “ballpark” ranges. This is why we will gladly provide a r FREE Estimate within 24 hours of your request for one. 
  3. What is included in your service? Windows, sills and screens.
  4. Do I have to be home when my windows are being cleaned? No you do not. Please make arrangements, however, for any access our technician would need and the proper restraint of any large dogs.
  5. How long will my house take? Because there are a lot of variables (number of windows, window types, outside only or inside & outside) a safe estimate would be anywhere from 1-6 hours. We can provide a more accurate estimate when we perform your FREE Estimate.
  6. What if it rains on my scheduled day/time? We will call you first thing on the day of your appointment to either confirm or cancel, depending on the weather. In a light rain, we can still clean and it will not be affected.
  7. How do I pay? We accept checks, cash and Visa/Mastercard. Retail and Commercial accounts can be set up on a billing cycle for your convenience.
  8. Are you insured? Carefree carries a $2M liability policy for any damage that may be caused by our technicians, as well as full workman’s comp. Proudly, since 1997, we’ve never had to use either!
  9. Do you have gift certificates? Yes! Give your friend or loved one the gift of clean windows, gutters and/or chandeliers with a Carefree Gift Certificate. Call us at 815-633-6732 and we can take credit card payment over the phone and mail it to you or make other arrangements for you to pick it up.
